KIRSTY COOK
Founder, Client Manager
Kirsty has always had an interest in finance and business and is excited to have started Kacey Accounts as her own venture.

Kirsty is a Qualified Bookkeeper who is also currently studying to obtain a New Zealand Diploma in Business (Accounting). She brings with her 8+ years experience in Bookkeeping and Payroll, servicing a broad range of industry's including Industrial, Freight, Hospitality, Farming and working alongside Tradesman.
​
Kirsty is a Xero certified advisor and has worked extensively across a number of job management and payroll platforms such as
Workflow Max, Fergus, Pay Hero and Smart Payroll.
​
In her spare time Kirsty enjoys helping out with her children's sports and schooling activities, going for nature walks through the Abel Tasman or up Mt Arthur and spending time with her energetic Nieces.

JAY MATTHEWS
Client Manager
After moving from the UK to sunny Nelson at just 2 1/2, and having spent a few years living and working across the ditch in Australia, Jay knows there's 'no place like home' and values her beautiful surroundings in the Nelson/Tasman ares.
​
Jay first started working in finance as an office junior at an accounting firm in her late teens, moving on to sole charge roles in bookkeeping. "Back in those days it was all manual workings, from cashbook to payroll book with the little brown envelopes of cash, and the handwritten PAYE and GST returns posted to the IRD - hasn't the world changed since then."
For the past 5 years, Jay has been working in bookkeeping, payroll and finance teams onsite as well as from her own home office.

With her extensive knowledge around payroll legislation and compliance, Jay is a real asset to the Kacey Accounts team. Jay knows her payroll software inside and out with experience across a wide range of payroll software including MYOB IMS and Xero payroll.
​
In her spare time, Jay's dog takes her for walks. She enjoys relaxing with her girlfriends and have a laugh, or curling up and watching a movie with her husband.
